- Properties In RNA, uracil base-pairs with adenine and replaces thymine during DNA transcription. - Live oral typhoid vaccine, hormonal birth control (eg, birth control pills), or penicillins (eg, amoxicillin) because their effectiveness may be decreased by Uracil
